Focus and Attention
Rigid structures, put in place for a purpose of understanding, are only meant as guidelines until our soul’s evolution moves us beyond the need for that kind of structure.
Where are you still living in a crumbling structure, an archaic system, a self-imposed anarchy, truly only rebelling against yourself and whatever higher being or purpose you hold sacred?
It’s a big question. Or is it?
I’m not here to debate God, politics or any other trigger issue that can put opinion against opinion in a battle of human will. No, that’s never the true purpose of soul growth or evolution.
Do we want to question? Of course! Do we want to query another’s reason or seek a soul stirring answer when queried ourselves? Of course! We want to look, ask, think, dig in and embrace all that is around us… but with the purpose of understanding our soul’s next phase of evolution, not to stir a divide or deem wrong what another is seeing at whatever phase of evolution they are in at the time.
It’s a tricky subject this seeking. We think we want the answers, we think we want more. Only to find ourselves slamming closed the very doors we once sought to open.
Ok, travesty or transformation…. One is not needed for the other to succeed. We seek openings then pride ourselves on overcoming the impossible, only to become used to the new normal, finding ourselves trapped once again in the chaos of another pattern.
We have only to seek our own enlightenment and find ways to share it in our world. We do not need a push from the universe in any way to achieve this. We seek out a push, only when our own evolution has halted somewhere along the lines. If the world around us halts, then we have a bigger problem.
Ok, consider this... In the time it took you to read this, the world has transpired to bring you a piece of your next steps in your evolution. It’s that simple. What you focus on has your attention, what has your attention, manifests in your world. That’s why 2 people viewing the same exact incident can come away with 2 entirely different meanings and outcomes. You know… glass half empty, glass half full… but again, are we remembering we are the ones in charge of simply refilling or emptying the glass at any point.
Sometimes we simply need to take our focus off the supposed obvious for us to see an even better vantage point.
Sift through your world. Where is your focus? And yes, it’s ok to focus for a moment on what you don’t like and what is not working. It’s even good! If you never turn your focus to what’s off, then that’s just plain avoidance. Sweeping the sh*t under the rug. Sweep enough under there and you won’t be able to see anything clearly around you anymore with the big pile obstructing your view.
The goal… look everywhere, assess your surroundings, then set your focus where you want to go.
We live in a mighty world, full of possibilities, whether around us, or in our own minds. Both needed to implement a change of heart dedicated to living your ultimate truth.
Be you, now more than ever, be the YOU, you’ve always wanted to be. The world needs it. The people in your everyday life need it. Your very hearts fulfillment depends on it.
….. and it’s worth all of your attention and focus.
